BOARDING

Stones Throw Farm New Jersey was established
in 19__. The Farm consist of three barns. The
larger Main barn is primarily the boarding barn it
can house 20 horses the stalls are a comfortable
10x10 or 10x12 all outside stalls have bared
windows the inside stalls do not but are larger in
size. The brick or concrete isle ways are wide
and accomodating. There is a hotwater wash
stall and a grooming stall along with cross ties in
the isles. Beautiful oak cabnites line the walls
for storage. There is an apartment built above
the main barn where our resident manager lives.

Boarding at STF is unlike what you will find at
other barns. The feed program is a soaked meal
of beet pulp, cooked oats/barley some Vitamines
and minerals adde,d each horse is fed 2 lg
quarts moring and night and given hay to keep
them happy in between when they are in. Stalls
are bedded in straw and are cleaned every
morning, water buckets dumped, scrubbed and
refilled daily. Horses have daily turnout, most
with a buddy and for no less then 5 hrs a day.
We try to accommadate individual needs as
much as possible. The horses at STF are relaxed
and happy.

Facility...

STF is a 50 acre property on a quiet county rd, with
stunning views from just about anywhere on the farm over
looking a large valley and mountains in the near distance.
There are many well maintained areas to ride around the
farm. The farm was and is still used in the spring and
summer to start and train a few race horses, so there is a
nice 3/4 grass track with a huge out door sand riding ring in
the center that boarders truely enjoy, jumps are also
avalible for use at any time. There is also a nice smaller
open dirt ring for flat work schooling with in the track. For
winter riding there is a nice size indoor arena just a few
steps from the main barn complete with lights.
